Trustworthy, honest and fast! I had a leak from my upper floor that damaged the ceiling of my lower level and had an estimate from my insurance to get the repair done. I contacted several contractors on Yelp, BBB and Google, CIC was by far the most responsive. They were able to come out and give me a (very fair) estimate within a week of my contacting them and then were able to start right away. They finished the job quickly and didn't disappear halfway through the project like some contractors do. The final cost was pretty much in line with the estimate with no crazy surprises some changes but was expected that’s how construction goes. They kept everything clean and my ceilings look better than ever. We decided to do a full remodel since we had so much damage. They also had some recommendations for other repairs I needed, and I'll be calling them again when I'm ready to upgrade my master bathroom. I'm so glad to have finally found a contractor I can trust and who I know isn't ripping me off or going to do a shoddy job. If you're still nervous, I would recommend at least having them come out to give an estimate and I bet you'll end up choosing them. Highly recommended!

CIC made out kitchen remodeling a breeze. Great communication from the get-go. Very accurate estimates of time and cost. We have a fixer upper with an aging interior, and they were able to transform it into a very modern looking room. They matched my wife's functional needs and design requests while keeping our cost needs in check. We are happy with the results and have received many complements on the refreshed look. Great flooring as well. They introduced some design elements that we wouldn't have thought about, which was a nice touch. We had read some poor reviews about them but honestly looking into the way people wrote the reviews we could tell that some people are unreasonable and unaware of the construction process. We are happy with them and recommend them as a home remodeling contractor.

When we tell people that we had a contractor who completed a major house remodel on time and close to budget, they do not believe us. CIC really delivered for us. In six months, almost to the day, they completed our major remodel: kitchen, pantry, powder room, dining and family room, and a master suite addition.

Carelis and Ian were a pleasure to work with for several reasons. They displayed ownership of the work and pride in its execution. Carelis frequently said, "It's your house and it's our project." They were really committed to make all parties excited about the work's execution. They were always helpful with suggestions, but never pushy.

Communication was fast and consistent. They used text to respond quickly to questions and concerns, and to send photos to document demolition and construction milestones. Their crew was friendly, clean, present almost every day, and tidy about cleaning up. There is always some collateral damage (e.g., broken bricks where the dumpster was parked) associated with a project of this size, and they were very responsible about repairs and making everything right. Minor changes (e.g., the placement of a door or junction box) were accommodated without extra charges.

The artisanship was superior. The tiling was fantastic, the drywalls are smooth, the hardwood floors are a fine match with the remainder of the house, and the cabinetry is sturdy. There were no construction shortcuts. Remodeling is not for the faint of heart, and Carelis and Ian were ethical and honest professional to work with throughout the process. Bottom line: we were very happy with CIC and have already recommended them to friends. There is no higher recommendation than that.
